Patton’s 3rd army pulled off the bulge and relieved Bastogne in 1944/45 in a lot worse conditions than the weather now. With older cruder equipment. Ever ride in a deuce and a half? You move mechanized equipment with ground troops. The ground troops have a function too.

True, but, the Americans were by that time generally excellent with logistics.

As for the present, let’s say only 1000 anti-tank missiles have been fired at that convoy, in carefully chosen locations.
