OTTAWA -- Lawyers for a proposed class-action lawsuit against the convoy protest in Ottawa argued in court Wednesday that GiveSendGo may be in breach of a freezing order on funds raised for the convoy on the website.
Monique Jilesen, a lawyer representing the proposed class and who obtained an injunction that froze convoy funds, said the order is meant to secure funds so the legal issue of how they should be used can be dealt with in court.
Parties in the case have agreed to move some donated funds and cryptocurrency into escrow, which could be redistributed to affected Ottawa residents and business owners should the class action succeed.

I have tried to open the eyes of some extended family. We didn’t see each other much, but were in contact a lot via phone/computer. It was the most frustrating experience. It didn’t matter how many articles, how much information, it fell of deaf ear. I just wanted so much for them to please stop getting all the jabs, at least hold off on them. Nope - lots of jabs, even the kids.
I was eventually told they had no interest in hearing about it any longer, that they just wanted to live their lives in peace. So I leave them alone. Something divides people permanently when this happens.
At least they didn’t try to keep the donations, unlike GoFundMe.

Health care is a major spearhead of colonization. What they did to Canadians , they did to natives there, in Morocco and elsewhere:

In any event, this story underscores the futility of giving money to GoFundMe or GiveSendGo or any such organizations. Just don’t do it.
The government will find a way to steal it
I will never donate to anything again. What’s the use? Now a days your donation may end up anywhere but what you donated to.
I was among those who said at the beginning that these Canadian truckers were taking a big chance out of naiveté. They left the government no room to save face while accommodating them, and they made a concentrated target of themselves. A decentralized independent truckers’ strike would have created far more pressure on the government with no way to exert counter-pressure on the protestors. The truckers’ lost earnings would have been small potatoes compared to what this is going to cost every one of them.
This is live and learn stuff for the populist side. The next necessary response will have to skip gentle measures and go right to tactics that make things harder in the short term for everybody. The elitists can then remember how harshly they punished people who went way out on a limb to offer an easier way out.
