My friend’s dad was functional but suffering from senility. The stages were obvious to everyone.
The one characteristic that began and never stopped was his pointless laughter whenever he answered a question or made a statement.
Laughing was his response to EVERYTHING.
That's obvious each time she is in public. Today she was fumbling thru notes prepared for her to answer basic questions, unprepared to the max. Stupid to the max.

That uncontrolled laugh signifies a problem, I don’t know what it is. But there is one person who knows her best. He shared a bed with her for years and provided her support and opportunities to rise up in the democratic state government. The one who knows her best, inside and out, is Willie Brown.
