Isn’t that interesting? They have such a small population for their landmass yet they are willing to sacrifice all those young men. My heart breaks for all those Russian moms.
Why?
My heart breaks for all those fleeing the Russian invasion into their country by a foreign aggressor. That's the Ukranian mom's, children and elderly, and those who stay behind to fight this uncalled for aggression.
I try and not to pick sides in this one because frankly, choosing one evil (Ukranian Government corruption) over another (Russian Evil) is a losing bet. It's choosing evil over evil. It's a false choice and frankly, by choosing you're part of the chaff getting separated from the wheat.
Compassion belongs to those fleeing. That's who deserves our prayers.
Why?
They are warriors and they died in battle. Moms and their weakness are irrelevant.
Russia has a declining population. They cannot replace the young men they are losing in this war. Even if they "win", they are accelerating their decline.
It is a catastrophe for the Russian nation.
