National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster

Even his name is out of central casting. Like a character entry from IMDb.
As long as our nation keeps putting dangerous frauds like him or Mike Mullen in positions of great power and influence, our swift decline is assured.

If it's true China's coming in on Russia's side this could get interesting ... fast.

“Just because a US Army would never consider flattening a city with artillery doesn’t mean Putin won’t, HR.”

The US Army flattened Southern cities with artillery during the Civil War.

General Grant said Port Gibson was “too beautiful to burn” when he was marching through.

Because our destruction of the ME and former Yugoslavian states was done humanely.

Actually, it was as far as war goes. The US military goes out of its way to avoid civilian casualties to the point of losing men it otherwise would not have. Compared to the Russian Way of War, the US fights with one hand tied behind its back an a heavily padded boxing glove on the other. No Russian unit or troop has to call a lawyer to get permission to shoot; the US military must.

The Russians practice terror and destruction with no civilians spared - look at Aleppo, Syria. Rubble. Slow methodical shelling and bombing until the civilians are all either dead or fled. Their Spetsnaz units specialize in terror, torture, kidnapping, assassination, and murder. It is what they are trained to do.

I think HR is telling the media what they want to hear.

Exactly and isn’t fascinating that in response to a Russian invasion, we have Freepers who want to go on about all the evil the United States has done in the world.

Just like scumbag leftists.

Pure distraction from what’s really happening today in the real world.

Several of the folks waiting in line behind Putin are a lot nastier than he is—sometimes the worst thing that can happen is your wish gets granted.

“Putin has run Russia for what, effectively 3 decades or so now?”

Not sure you know what effectively means.

I don't think McMaster-Carr makes much of anything. What they have is a world class website, warehouse and logistical organization.

I often send their catalog numbers to manufacturer's representative whom I know can beat their pricing if we aren't in a hurry to get it yesterday/

H.R. "Pufnstuf" McMasters.

My go-to guy when I want The Straight Dope on what's really going on.

Oh, wait. No, he's not.

He's just some Swamp chump, sucking off the government dime like the rest of the tax-ticks in Brandonton, DC.

“Putin is in real trouble?”

As Putin’s arty is leveling the suburbs of Kyiv?

Interesting analysis from H.R.

Maybe economically?

A perfect example that the political spectrum is circular in nature and not linear. All the fruits and nuts are in the same bowl in support of Putinist Russia’s destruction and murder..

“Freepers who want to go on about all the evil the United States has done in the world.”

Many of us want to go on about all the evil the Democrats have done in the US.

—Stolen a Presidential election—which means they have no legitimate authority to risk our lives in nuclear war.
—Partnered with Big Tech to crush the First Amendment beneath cancel culture and censorship.
—Undermined law enforcement creating a culture of lawlessness in America’s large cities.
—Refused to defend our national borders from illegal invaders while pledging to defend borders on another continent.
—Created massive inflation that is crushing the standard of living of the vast majority of Americans.
—Slandered white people with charges of racism while supporting phony “incidents” like Smollett (and many others).
—Created vaccine mandates in blatant violation of the Nuremberg Code.

I could go on and on—but the notion that the current US government has the moral standing to complain about Russia is absurd on its face.

So let me get this straight. According to all the Western propaganda media, Russia is totally failing and losing to those glorious Ukrainians who are as close to sainthood as possible. Yet somehow this is going to start wWIII because they can’t even defeat Ukraine.

This is how I know this is all BS. WWIII is getting closer because Ukraine is almost about to be finished soon with Russia leveling whole towns. Yet, we will still hear, “The Russians are losing!” over and over.

Exactly...good post. I just can’t believe some of the people on here so willingly sucking up such blatant government propaganda unquestionably. And after all the lies and manipulation with covid, I’m even MORE inclined to question them now. The government will pee on your leg and tell you it’s raining.

The reason why so many deepstate warmongering neocons care so deeply is that they had stuffed their pockets with cookies from the cookie jar and suddenly Putin shows up calls them imperialists and perverts and they cry foul.

It is becoming evident that our interest in Ukraine is directly proportional to how much money our corruptocrats were skimming off the deal.

The losers are the Ukrainian people and the American people and the Russian people, but none of them mattered to those on the great global game.

The straw man is a fallacy in which an opponent’s argument is overstated or misrepresented in order to be more easily attacked or refuted.
