Danish Government Welcomes Ukrainian Refugees, Sends Syrians Home

The Danish government is said to have agreed on legislation to suspend asylum rules for Ukrainian refugees while also asking many Syrians to return to their country.

Denmark is expected to pass the new legislation for Ukrainian refugees on Wednesday after the government and the National Association of Municipalities reached an agreement on the matter.

Under the agreement, Ukrainians entering Denmark will be granted a residence permit within four days of their arrival and will be assigned a municipality where they will be settled, broadcaster TV Syd reports.

Denmark’s Minister for Immigration and Integration Mattias Tesfaye commented on the policy saying, “Many of us will find that when we drop off our daughter down at the crèche, there will be a Ukrainian name in the wardrobe. And that is because we have new citizens in Denmark.”

"[T]oday a third of the refugees who pass through Ukraine who do not come from Ukraine, but… come from sub-Saharan Africa in particular… who use this new migratory route to come to Europe," the French MEP alleged https://t.co/1POeNpm87Z

“It’s going to be very fast. Many Danes will already have a new colleague, a new neighbour or a new school friend in a few weeks’ time,” Tesfaye said and added, “To be perfectly honest, I do not think Danish society has realised how enormous an integration task we have in front of us.”

“You have to go back to the end of the Second World War to see such a huge refugee crisis on the European continent. We are facing a huge task and we will all have to contribute to solving it. Right now, of course, we are all horrified by what is happening in Ukraine, and we have opened Denmark’s doors....

Is Denmark tired of free-loading Muslim immigrants?

“The asylum system is being used for migration on a scale that our welfare society cannot absorb, and it challenges cohesion in Denmark. That is why we have to bring asylum immigration under control,”

The EU has been whining about Hungary’s attempts to stop the flow of peaceful Muslim invaders. Will Denmark now get the same treatment from the EU?

repatriating the Muslims is long long overdue

mass scale Muslim “immigration” is about the most dangerous thing impossible for a civilized society

we need to get some repatriations going in USA too! just because we are larger does not eliminate our vulnerability to terrorist attacks and “cultural warfare” from within our own borders

Denmark will get much pushback from the EU, but also from the USA. America is the world capital of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, LGBT Pride, and CRT.

Kudos to Denmark if it stands firm.

And that is because we have new citizens in Denmark

Instant citizenship? Are they stark raving mad? Hopefully just a translation error.

We could use about 5 million Ukrainians.

White, Christian, self reliant, good history in this country and Canada (except for Chrystia Freeland...guess there’s a bad apple in every bunch).

Beats the hell out of third world savages from the hell holes of Mexico/Central/South America.

Best part will be listening to the Leftists howl when they start having multiple kids per family. They didn’t get the memo about self genocide from the abortionist cult, still like having big families. That REALLY pisses of the abortionists.

Makes perfect sense to me. Ukrainians are Christian Europeans. They might actually assimilate in time. They’re also genuine refugees instead of just economic migrants or freeloaders.

A little screening might be necessary...and maybe a two generation ban on government employment

Beats the hell out of third world savages from the hell holes of Mexico/Central/South America.

I live in Los Angeles. Latinos are everywhere, and many of them are well integrated and make fine citizens. I've interacted with Latino lawyers, realtors, barristas, plumbers, auto mechanics, movers, priests, and film industry people.

Many are good Catholics, though naturally, after being here a couple of generations, some are as woke as any American.

I'd much rather Latinos than Somalis.
