There is that word again “ACTIVISTS”. Have you noticed that anytime you see that word it invariably refers to rabid liberals, almost never to conservatives?
It’s why they’re winning the culture war - they are on a constant warpath to force their agenda down people’s throats - and it has worked like a charm for them.
It’s becoming more and more self evident to me that the world is run by rabid grass root activists and community agitators, aka, “scab pickers”. Losing an election for them is just a small bump in the road - they have many other means to get what they want.
So, the 64k question is, how does our side counter this?
It isn't a very nice answer, but by adopting a tactic the left has used for some time, freeze and isolate the target (Alinsky), and crush that individual ruthlessly. Winning an engagement won't be enough, that individual must be hounded afterward and his or her life ruined by any means necessary and as publicly as possible. Activists are, mainly, terrorists and bullies, or rather a self-supporting network of bullies swift to come to one another's defense in order to keep the game going and minimize the cost of their aggression. And until there is at least a possibility of that cost being insuperable it will continue.
That requires a certain vindictiveness that is difficult to muster among people who truly believe in forgiveness and reconciliation, which the current Left activists most certainly do not - they want us dead and are not in the least reluctant to say so. You don't fight that sort of individual with half measures. All IMHO and regretfully posted, but I think it's the case.
The REALquestion for me,amidst this relentless cancel culture in all of its rancid judgments and moral take-downs, is just exactlY WHO is making these charges??Across the board they seem to emanate not from any individual spokesman or even any official or semi-official INTEREST group, whether the subject is distinctly “race”-based or LGBTQ or trans based. No spokesmen, no arguments ever transpire in the public square-—the charge is made, and dutifully reported by the MSM, then the cancelled one usually has to retract or recede or apologize.....to WHO???To what abstract entity funded by WHO??? Only a very few ever decide to say “Screw You!” I have nothing to apologize about or for!” Aaron Rogers was one, and it was over the vaccine mandate IIRC.
