I’d love to know who is footing the bills for his legal team and robust private security. Is the family THAT rich, or is it the entire social justice FOJ (friends of Juicy) network? Maybe the Obamas know.

The Juicy-tis system working as expected.
If he had shut his mouth when the cops advised him he could stay silent there would have been no drama and likely no jail.

"his attorneys said he was the target of a racist justice system"
That's called black privilege. No white person can do that to skip out of his jail sentence.

Amen, but at least they released the guy who assaulted him at the same time; so Jussie has to keep looking over his shoulder.

[[Smollett’s attorneys had argued that he would have completed the sentence by the time the appeal process was completed and that Smollett could be in danger of physical harm if he remained in jail.]]
Because by golly jussie smollet is super special and shouldn’t have to face ANY con sequences for his actions- EVERYONE else of course has to do the time even if it means they did their whole time before an appeals trial could be conducted- and because by golly jussie shouldn’t have to face the consequences everyone else must face if they break the law!

the appellate court doesn't "play politics." "Appellate court" is an inanimate object. Who cashed in their political favor chips? Who's doing what behind the curtain, and why?

Justice in the U.S. has been subverted. As a general rule, if you're wealthy, in political favor, celebrity, and or well connected, they're often given a wink and a nod. And if they can't keep Smollett in jail for even 2 weeks with a train load of evidence, how in hell will people like Hillary Clinton ever be put in jail?
Very sad knowing lots of average people are thrown in cages all the time, for a long time, for some of the most benign bull s**t imaginable. Look at all those non-violent 1/6 people for example. They're still being used as political cannon fodder while thousands who rioted, looted and committed arson in dozens of U.S. cities in 2020, walked while the cops stood and watched. And those who were arrested often had their charges dropped.

Not sure I understand. Does he go back to jail to serve the remainder of his sentence if his appeal is denied?
