'NOT SURPRISED': Rand Paul Slams Republicans Who Voted To Keep Fauci But Impeach Trump
Daily Caller ^ | March 16 | Brianna Lyman

Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul slammed a group of five Republican senators who voted Tuesday against his amendment to remove Dr. Anthony Fauci but had once voted in favor of impeaching former President Donald Trump.

“I guess I’m not surprised that Republican senators who voted to get rid of Donald Trump voted to keep Anthony Fauci,” Paul said in an exclusive statement to the Daily Caller. “Disappointed but not surprised. I think if Republican voters in their home states learn of this vote to keep Anthony Fauci, these voters will be very unhappy.”

Republican Sens. Richard Burr of North Carolina, Susan Collins of Maine, Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Mitt Romney of Utah and Jerry Moran of Kansas all voted against the amendment.

The same group of senators also voted to convict Trump, with the exception of Moran, who criticized the former president but said he would not vote to convict Trump because it could establish a dangerous precedent.

Trump has to stop endorsing Bush League Republicans.

We will never Make America Great Again by re-electing Assistant Democrats

Cassidy voted to keep Fauci, and I was neither surprised nor disappointed, since I already knew he is a POS.

Romney and all the GOP Congressional Members who voted to impeach Trump should repay monies they used from the RNC to run for office. They are Dems.

They're not Republicans; they're traitors.

You and me both. Throw in Bush and McCain also.

We’ve been in a free fall since Reagan.

Priority #1 this year is to cull as many RINOs as possible.

Only Collins is from a “purple” state. The rest should expect and vote in far better representation.

After almost 50 years of party membership, I reregistered Independent shortly after Brandon’s inauguration.

Why fight for the congressional GOP when it won’t fight for electoral integrity?

Trump is not as gullible as you think. A dem replacing Collins would not be an improvement. She blocked the nomination of rabid “climate change” FED nominee Sarah Bloom Raskin.

I agree. And she voted for Kavanaugh when a lot of pressure was on her to vote against.

Yes. I thought about adding that. Kavanaugh, although sometimes he is a little too “moderate” for me, but Collins did good in voting against the dem/marxist frameup against him.

Rand Paul - a man of principle. So few left. Mitt just being Mitt - a defender of the Deep State. What’s really going on in Ukraine Mitt? I’m sure you can elaborate and explain why you’ve been a complete tool the last 6 years.
