Actually NW Arkan-saw is NOW not too bad as it was sixty five years ago. Real Hillbilly back then.
But then, I am only talking about Benton and Washington counties. (NW Ark) The rest of the state fades into a fog.

Before I moved to Arkansas I did a little research on the population demographics and the distance from significant ethnic populations. Searcy County has less than 1% black. Marion and Boone are not far behind. It is an hour and a half drive to any location from here where there are any concentration of ethnics. I was living in NE Miss/West Tennessee where the ethnics had destroyed Memphis and Jackson and were starting to drive into the rural areas and attack vulnerable homes. Dumas according to the census is almost 70% race of professional victims. The Delta in Mississippi has a corresponding number with corresponding crime. There is a reason there is high crime in those areas and the reason is obvious.
