Alot of that started YEARS ago when giving IQ tests to students was outlawed. Also aptitude tests. Those would show the kinds of things a student as good at & was actually INTERESTED in.

I can remember being given tests when I applied for accounting jobs. One test person was amazed that I could remember 9 sequential numbers in a row without error. I remember saying: “You mean that is something special?”

I can still remember phone numbers without looking them up. I do NOT use a cell phone & I believe that USING MY MEMORY keeps me more alert, etc.

Then-—more laws say that a landlord CAN NOT know the criminal history of a prospective tenant....so IF a Sex Offender gets residence in YOUR 8 unit apartment-—WHO get sued when all hello breaks loose???
