A disability rights advocate will become the second openly transgender person to serve as a California judge after being appointed Friday by Gov. Gavin Newsom.
Andi Mudryk, 58, chief deputy director at the Department of Rehabilitation, will serve on the Sacramento County Superior Court.
She follows in the path of Alameda Superior Court Judge Victoria Kolakowski, who became the first openly transgender judge after being elected in 2010.

If I were young, and had no shame, I could go far in life pretending to believe that I was a woman. I wouldn’t even have to study or work hard. I’d just put on a wig, and government and corporations would offer me lucrative jobs just to feature me in their annual diversity reports.

There do seem to be a lot more in the news, about men wanting to be women, than the other way around.
My unanswered question, which would offend the sensibilities of the feminist types, is, why would “transsexual” people want to transition from men to women, when women are allegedly discriminated against, make 70 cents on the dollar and all the rest of their complaints? Why would a man in a position of privilege because he is male, want to transition to become an oppressed female?
Transgenderism is a luxury status, like having a second house in the Caymans or a Bugatti Chiron. Having a transgender child is the new having a child prodigy. Except, the transgender child is less trouble, a dutiful eunuch sedated by hormone blockers.
Sure, there are poor & working class people who claim to be transgender as well, but they’re chasing after something they can’t afford.
A ‘transgender’ person is psychologically INCAPABLE of rendering an impartial decision in any case remotely connected with that lifestyle, period. They live, breathe and eat that abnormal dogma. You might as well go get some nut out of the mental ward and give them a black robe and a gavel.

Because they are the most VOCAL wing of the leftist party and the party’s leaders are idiots who believe them and the nonsense coming out of MSM, Hollywood and wherever. 3.5-3.6% of the populace is ‘gay’. Of that, about a tenth describe themselves as ‘transgender.’ Of those ‘transgenders’ most don’t even bother with the surgery to make their false personas anywhere remotely near the gender they profess.

Good summary. This is largely a phenomenon of wealthy white people. There was a boy in my kid’s kindergarten class whose parents decided he was a girl. Started putting dresses on him, grew his hair out, started calling him ‘her’, etc. It became the focus of their life and ultimately wound up with a narrative of how brave and courageous the parents were for letting the boy become his authentic self. The parents basked in all the attention and compliments regarding their ‘bravery’. I complained to the school and was told behind a closed door they didn’t agree with having to participate in the family’s delusion and couldn’t do anything about due to threats of lawsuits, etc. We pulled all of our kids out of the private school in protest. As aside, the kid was very oddly sexualized in how he was dressed and acted and I firmly believe his dad (a total weirdo scumbag hippie POS) was sexually abusing him. I suspect one day I’ll read an article about finding the parents’ heads in the kid’s freezer.

At over $30K to transition who will pay? Yes of course taxpayers.
There are plenty, including several Hollywood celebs. The most famous is Chaz Bono. There's another transman celeb, though I forget "his" name.
I've come across several articles about pregnant "men" such as Freddy McConnell and Thomas Beatie (below).
And don't forget that famous Gillette ad with the father teaching his transman "son" to shave.
