Parallel example: Russians open civilian exit corridors from Mariupol. This benefits Russians, less civlians, leaving only combatants in besieged Mariupol.
So why would Russians, as loudly pronounced by Western MSM, fire on these civilians leaving the “green corridors?”

In most of the world, outside of flagrant NATO/US propaganda, it’s recognized that the Azov Nazis are firing on the green corridors, lest these combatants lose their civilian human shields.
Azov Nazis, FAR more in numbers than “a battalion” (=1,000 troops more or less), were sent to pro-Russian Mariupol post the 2014 coup, to keep this critical Sea of Azov city under Ukrainian control.
Now, they are trapped by the Russians. If they let their Russian human shields escape, they will be wiped out by the Russians. (On the green corridor escape routes, when operating, Russians are checking “family men” in normal cars for Azov Nazi tattoos. So little of what is happening escapes the propaganda filters. Like the Azov Nazi torture murders of Russian POWs:)
The current propaganda war is simply amazing.
The last time peace talks were sabotaged, 2 weeks back, one of Zelinsky’s negotiating team was assassinated by one of his “security detail” with a shot in the heart at point blank. I think it’s pretty clear who wants to sabotage the peace talks.
Certain people want WW3 and it isn’t the Russians.
Could it have been radioactive dust? Chernobyl isn’t too far from Gomel, where the negotiations took place.
Apparently Chernobyl has become a tourist attraction, so I would hope there’s not enough radioactivity in the area any more to cause death.

To put things in their proper perspective:
The coup was in February, 2014. Russia invaded and annexed Crimea in February and March, 2014, and at the same time invaded Donbas (using proxies as well as Russian troops). Russia annexed Crimea in March, 2014. Mariupol is in the Donetsk Oblast. On April 7, 2014 pro-Russian separatists declared the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), and the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) a few weeks later. Mariupol falls within the DPR. Mariupol is a very strategic Ukrainian port, and its being included within the DPR was a direct threat to Ukraine’s economy and security. The Azov Battalion was formed on May 9, 2014, in response to the Russian invasion and the secession of the DPR. It was indeed focused on Mariupol.
I’m just citing the facts. And, facts are stubborn things, and are in and of themselves neutral, and non-judgmental.
