There are a lot of smart and important conversations that still need to be had in the United States about critical social issues like race.
One Florida man in a Popeye’s was not interested in having any of those important conversations but was more than happy to pipe off with his thoughts about race.
Specifically, his thoughts about Black people......
In the video, the customer, 32-year-old Colton Norsworthy, appears to be upset with the Popeye's employees and claims that the employee holding the camera called him a cracker.
After Norsworthy claimed that the employee called him a cracker, the manager simply asked Norsworthy “And what did you call her?”
This was, apparently, too much for Norsworthy, and he lashed out at the manager, saying. “I called her a f-cking n***** after she called me a cracker.”
The manager that was initially speaking to Norsworthy then walks out of frame after trying to deescalate the situation and seeing that Norsworthy was beyond any sort of reason.

That “conversation” is NEVER a civil discussion. It’s always a self-righteous lecture at best, and a yell-over shout fest at worst.

I fall on the side of people should be able to use any words they want. They might be identified as jerks, racists, whatever. They might get their butts kicked. That’s on them.
Whats not right is the Popeye’s employee probably provoked it. We have more than one Popeyes hete that you dont go to if you are caucasian. The service will be awful if you get served at all. I like popeyes food, but I have to go so far out of my way to get a non racist crew that its not worth it.
Calling anyone a n-word is truly the height of poor judgment in todays environment, but Im goingbto go out on a limb and say theres more to it, and this guy is being painted as unreasonable to make the POC in this story to look like the oppressed.

The Floridians extracted resin from pine trees that was converted into something, maybe turpentine. The conversion process was called cracking.

Local Popeyes manager had a stated “No whitie” policy.
It is amazing what she considered white also.
Local community organizer said they needed a safe space to eat chicken.
To be honest I will not go into a Popeyes north of the Mason Dixon line anymore. Deep south? Love of chicken beats all
