I bet this sort of thing is global and includes the same goings on by Russia in Europe. Anyone could see a EU “green” policy was going to favor Russian energy for decades to come.
I wouldn’t be surprised if China was behind a lot of these “green laws” too since it would mean even more factories would move to their country.
