The Federal Election Commission has fined the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign for lying about the funding of the infamous, and discredited, Russian “dossier” used in a smear attempt against Donald Trump weeks before he shocked the world with his 2016 presidential victory.
The election agency said that Clinton and the DNC violated strict rules on describing expenditures of payments funneled to the opposition research firm Fusion GPS through their law firm.

If I recall they paid Fusion GPS over $400,000 to author/publish the work. $105K is less than 1/4 of that.

Good evidence for the trial.
Now an application needs to be made to the FEC to de-certify the DNC for the election interference, sue the recipients of the election inteference under the Emoluments Act to remove them from office, and for promoting un-Natural Born Citizens Hussein Obama and Kamala Harris in separate elections.

And the other fine is 8k. You made it sound like there was something in the article to the fines. One less than a slap on the wrist the other barely a slap (105k to DNC).
