The government insists it will ban so-called conversion therapy for gay or bisexual people in England and Wales-but not for transgendered people.
It comes hours after it had said it would drop the ban entirely.
The announcement that it would explore "non-legislative measures" to prevent the practice prompted a furious response from LGBT groups and many MP's.
According to NHS England, conversion therapy tries to change someone's sexual orientation or gender identity.
A senior government source has told the BBC the ban will feature in the next Queen's Speech...

Gays have better lobbyists?
Anyone else seeing the weird hypocrisy on this issue?
If a parent takes a kid to a medical professional to get pumped full of puberty blockers and have a penis cut off...thats ok.
If a parent wants a professional to talk to a kid about not being gay...all hell breaks loose and we need to pass a law to forbid it.
Imagine how much better their lives would be if they got therapy for sexual abuse/rape and put the perps in person.
The wording, on purpose I suppose, makes it sound like they're trying to drive people into mental illness. In truth, Conversion Therapy tries to address the existing mental illness of someone whose sexual preference is not the same as their biological sex.
Total contradiction.
So a person can be a man and claim they are a woman trapped in a man’s body and vice versa (which is a physical and biological impossibility) and get all the “treatment” they desire to make to make themselves switch genders.
However, a person can’t claim they are straight and want to get rid of gay tendencies - if they want treatment, it will be denied.
It’s stupid and ridiculous.

You see, it’s OK to groom little kids into believing the delusions of homos and trans, but not to try to help these confused people to let go of their sick delusions.

I guess gays are banned by others from getting help to change to heterosexual. Illogical, and self-refuting...in a zeitgeist that celebrates charting ones own life choices..
