On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher said that while The New York Post‘s Hunter Biden story should have been taken with a grain of salt, “It didn’t take two years.” And it seems like “the left-wing media just buried the story because it wasn’t part of their narrative and that’s why people don’t trust the media.”

Maher, like many of the wayward lefties are slow on the pickup.
It was not only “not part of their narrative”, it directly contradicted and refuted their narrative. He’s being unjustifiably charitable - as the gaslight media always is when it comes to crimes of the left.
The writing is on the wall and the mid terms will force a major shift to the right, in politics as well as in other areas. News orgs are looking at hiring less left-leaning people to give the appearance of more even balance in their presentations.
Some ‘journalists’ are getting the jump on the balance thing to better their hiring prospects in the latter part of the year.
I’ve had enough of this Good Maher/Bad Maher routine. He either can see the mess we’re in, and the reasons for it, or this back & forth is a Work.
Nothing gets by him. Why didn’t he bring it up since he is part of the Leftwing Media?
A CNN legal analyst talking about “fairness” in the media? Give me a break. BTW Guiliani acted the way he did because n one would believe him. That made him look crazy.

I disagree. Maher is still the left-wing fascist he has always been. He is simply “pivoting” away from hardline leftist doctrine to attract more / new viewers. It is temporary and calculated.

I would say SOME people don’t trust the media Bill. The media establishment is a wing of the Democrat party. Now that people are paying a price, a heavy price at that, they are forced to admit that have been lied to about Joe Biden. This whole laptop issue is a part of the plan. Joe’s sins have found him out. The media has no choice but to face the fact that they backed a Donkey in a horse race. They have to try to make themselves credible with their base. With so many fence sitters abandoning the rat party, the media and the likes of Maher have to do something. They are appealing to the common man. They are in a pinch. Maher and his media cohorts are filthy democrat operatives trying to adjust to the coming wave.
Maher is a unicorn among liberals. He publicly points out their hypocrisy and refuses to pretend he doesn’t see what everyone else sees.
