WASHINGTON — The U.S. Defense Department announced Friday it is allotting $300 million in "security assistance" for Ukraine to bolster the country's defense capabilities, adding to the $1.6 billion Washington has committed since Russia invaded in late February.

Sure, because if the switchblade kamikazee drones weren't sent to Ukraine, they would have been sent to guard the southern border.
Much cheaper to spend $300 million to defeat the Russians now then to let them rebuild the USSR and have to spend many billions per year for a new Cold War.

I don’t even support “paying off student debts” but I’d rather money went to actual Americans than some backwards hellhole like Ukraine. Will the Ukrainians even notice if their country went from an American puppet state to a Russian puppet state (besides less rainbow flags). I’m sure the Neocon bidenBots on this board love the idea of wasting tax dollars on this.
Explain what is irrational. Putin began this war demanding America withdraw from all of Eastern Europe and return it to Russian control.
$300 million buys a lot of “security assistance” if you’re on a luxury yacht in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea.
