There was no failure, accident or forgetting involved. It was deliberate strategy and collusion to create favorable political distance on behalf of Clinton by Todd.

Pre-condition for ol’ piss and vinegar coming on the show. Apparently she was a late add as the Shows talent Bookers failed to realize that Bobo the Clown has been dead for years.
Oh it is even worse than that. Their camps coordinated the optimal ways to protect her and decided an interview while ignoring the subject would help to delegitimize the issue. He didn’t make a reluctant concession at all he wanted to do whatever he could to help her.
