The White House ignored calls Tuesday for an independent special counsel to investigate President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden’s shady foreign business deals.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki indicated a special counsel was not needed because Biden had not discussed the investigation into his son with his Department of Justice (DOJ).

Criminal activity belongs in court of law, not congressional dog and pony photo ops.
Currently, the only special counsels are appointed using internal DOJ rules under the control of AG Garland. The precedent is that the White House butts out.
Where is that independent AG the left always wants?
The white house has to agree on an independent investigation of the president?
Did anyone look up the definition of independent?
If Facebook fact checkers can be paid by Facebook and claim to be independent...

This is so corrupt that the sitting AG, who top Repubs rallied around, didn’t apply the most appropriate use of a Special counsel in History.
Essentially, the Republicans and Dems (and FBi / DoJ) viewed Hunter as grandfathered royalty.

we don’t need a special council a military tribunal would be in order but they are also compromised

Hmmmm. So Special Counsel would mask the names of various subjects in the investigation, like “Big Guy Number 1”
“I choose to not investigate my crooked son who paid me on every deal.”

I just saw a supposed Legal Expert on TV on Hunter:
Get this— this is from way back when, and no one alleges any of this took place while Biden was President!
He said it goes back easily before 2018!
So, they Run out the clock, and then say - Old News - and then imply Joe ushered in ethics when he became President!
All predictable, too.

Every special council who ever completed and investigation proved to be corrupt. The Jury is still out on Durham, but I don’t expect he will take on the biggest crooks like Hillary.
If you had one appointed by Garland then what a joke that would be.
But did Joe benefit from Hunter’s illegal/unethical business dealings selling access to his father and friends.
