WASHINGTON — House Judiciary Committee Republicans are demanding that 51 former intelligence operatives divulge information about their 2020 statement that documents from Hunter Biden’s laptop could be Russian disinformation — with a senior GOP aide telling The Post that the ex-spies should expect subpoenas next year if they fail to comply.

If you have been following the saga of Hunter’s Laptop from Hell, you will know that we are now in Phase Two of the coverup. In Phase One you were told that the laptop was the creation of the Russians designed to sabotage Joe Biden’s campaign for President. That lie has now collapsed, so in Phase Two we are being told that whatever Hunter was up to, it has nothing to do with Joe. Hunter may have spent his time up to his eyeballs in hookers and blow and kept company with a lot of unsavory characters, but Joe knew nothing about any of it.
“I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings,” Biden insisted in 2019. Essentially saying “There is no family enterprise.”
It is funny then that the contents of Hunter’s laptop do not jive at all with that characterization. On the contrary, the laptop is filled with documents and emails which make perfectly clear that Hunter and Joe worked closely together, commingled funds, and operated largely as a team. As noted in the tweet above, a close Hunter Biden business associate Tony Bobulinski has gone on record stating “I have heard Joe Biden say that he’s never discussed business with Hunter. That is false.”
A case in point would be the intelligence briefings shared with Hunter by the Office of the Vice President.
Over a period of what appears to be years, a daily intelligence briefing prepared for Joe Biden was forwarded to Hunter ............ and several other members of the Biden family.
When this practice began is unclear. The documents reviewed so far appear to have been from the period after Joe left the White House. They were sent by a woman named Kathy Chung.

You know this business of threatening citizens with being summoned before Congress and humiliated without any legitimate legislative purpose is totally out of control.
Most people posting here feel (rightly) that “facing subpoenas” constitutes extrajudicial punishment. Whether they support or oppose this form of punishment depends on whose ox is being gored.
I think the various factions in Congress using “hearings” to attack and harass their political enemies (the January 6 committee being exhibit #1) is a disgrace and in a just society would be reined in by the courts.
They’ll just say, in unison, “Our signed letter DID NOT say this was a Russian disinformation operation, we said it had ALL THE EARMARKS of one.” Plausible deniability.

Poena...Latin for “penis.” (it isn’t really, but it’s needed for the joke.)
So, sub poena means “below the penis.”
Ergo, Subpoena means, “They’ve got you by the b***s.”

The GOP owned the House for two years and the Senate for four years - and they only protected Joe Biden, Hunter, and James Biden.
They were in power when it meant something and they wanted to keep authorizing investigations of Trump.
You really have had to be living in the woods to believe these latest round of Lies.
When they take over, they’ll say - it’s time to Heal.
Why would any Biden except Joe receive these classified briefings? Did any of them have a security clearance and why if none worked for the Govt and where they would be given one?
