The bill was previously voted on at the end of March, with four ayes and one no. Democratic Sens. Steven Bradford, Sydney Kamlager and Scott Wiener, along with Skinner, all voted in favor of the bill. Sen. Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh, also a Democrat, voted no.

In the 1980s I was a Border Patrol agent down in El Paso. One day I had a van load of illegals who were complaining that we were being unfair to them.

I asked them if I paid them the same amount I was making would they arrest their fellow Mexicans. They all agreed they would.
