Wind Farms Guilty of Killing 150+ Eagles as Joe Biden Pushes for More Woke Renewables
Breitbart ^ | 7 April, 2022 | SIMON KENT

Proprietors of a series of green energy wind farms have been placed on probation and ordered to pay $8 million in fines and restitution after pleading guilty to killing upwards of 150 eagles across the past decade in eight states, federal prosecutors said Wednesday.

The criminal case was decided against the backdrop of President Joe Biden pushing for more onshore and offshore renewable energy from wind, solar and other sources, as Breitbart News reported. It’s illegal to kill or harm eagles under U.S. federal law.

AP reports NextEra Energy subsidiary ESI Energy pleaded guilty to three counts of violating the Migratory Bird Treaty Act during a court appearance in Cheyenne, Wyoming. It was charged in the deaths of eagles at three of its wind farms in Wyoming and New Mexico…

Wind generators require hundreds of gallons of oil to lubricate and keep them spinning.

If we put up too many windmills the wind will slow down.

We're gonna play around with nature and break the wind… ;0)

Those thinking to replace conventional power plants with wind generators are just breaking wind anyway. This business of destroying protected bird species is serious business. The average citizen is in big trouble for doing that. Let’s see some jail time for wind energy(or solar) producers.

I know it’s funny to think about that. I’ve always wondered exactly what the impact on surface winds across land masses would be like if things were taken to the maximum-coverage needs (delivered KWs required for sole wind power) and how that would affect upper level winds and their normal patterns. Could it lead to more turbulence? Tornados? Would slower surface winds affect the climate? Less evaporation?

I wonder if there is anyone running simulations on it?

If they’re admitting that number you can be sure that the real number is much higher.

In reality, to call wind and solar “Green Energy” is a complete lie. They are ten times more destructive to the environment that oil and particularly natural gas. The hidden truth is that when all of the refuse from these industries are dealt with, the environmental destruction will be catastrophic, and far more dangerous that hydrocarbons. What about mountains of discarded wind blades? What about mountains of discarded, exploding batteries, and the associated chemicals? Thirdly, what about the environmental destruction to get the minerals necessary to feed the “Green Monster?” China and Russia control the world supply of the needed minerals because we have not been allowed to develop our own. Russia and China probably are funding the “Green Energy” forum worldwide.

And that’s just the Eagles, not counting all the other bird species - bats are not even counting but strikes are believed even more numerous than on birds. Insect kingdom rejoices at having more blood to suck without fear of evil birds eating them.

Wind farms rob the atmosphere of a minuscule amount of energy, but that is not to say it is insignificant. Solar farms robe the land of warmth, warm land causes moisture to rise and form clouds lack of sufficient wind the clouds don’t move as fast as they might, so local weather changes, local weather change means distant weather is effected. ETC.

Another example how leftie ideas cause problems were none existed before, and, in fact, create worse problems then the ones their crazy ideas tried to fix in the first place.

Eagles are a dime a dozen now. They will quickly adapt as the stupid ones are culled from the flock.

Just wait until Bill Gates’s crazy plan takes effect - to dump trillions of micro mirrors into the upper atmosphere to reflect sunlight back into outer space.

That’s supposed to stop “global warming.”

Yeah, sure!

I once got into a discussion with a Greenie from New York about wind turbines killing thousands if not tens of thousands of birds that use the updrafts over mountains in Pennsylvania that are flyways during migration. These mountains are being desecrated with giant, eyesore, wind turbines.

Her retort, “Well, the birds will just have to learn to fly someplace else!” She was against fracking and the natural gas industry in Pennsylvania and was contemptuous that I supported it.

Someone has said, “the Green New Deal types love the climate but hate the environment.” This idiot was proof of that. Not a brain in her empty head.

The biggest enemy of environment are the “environmentalists”.

As Mark Twain said: “Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience”. Biden is probably her hero for his stance against Oil and Gas and Coal production. But Biden is only against US O&G and Coal because it conflicts with his own foreign ownership of Petroleum and Carbon assets. He has probably made millions off of Petroleum from Ukraine and China, so he cannot support US Production because it is competition for his own holdings.

How do these wind farms get environmental approvals? Huge developments have been canceled because they might pose some unknown threat to an endangered insect or have been hung up in court for decades by environmental group lawsuits claiming unsubstantiated threats to endangered species. It should have been quite obvious that these windmills chop up birds including protected species so why were they never challenged by environmentalists?
