PHILADELPHIA (Reuters) - Republicans are registering formerly Democratic voters at four times the rate that Democrats are making the reverse conversion in the battleground state of Pennsylvania, a warning sign for Democrats as they try to keep control of the U.S. Congress.
The Republican gains in Pennsylvania, home to a critical U.S. Senate race, follow a pattern seen in other states that could have competitive contests in November's elections, as high levels of disapproval with President Joe Biden's handling of his job are helping narrow the long-held advantage held by Democrats in numbers of registered voters.
"I just got fed up and just felt like there has to be a better way," said Beth Jones, 48, a retired Philadelphia police officer who last month registered as a Republican, ending her three-decade affiliation with the Democratic Party.
Similar to other recent converts interviewed by Reuters, Jones cited concerns about inflation and violent crime in making the switch.
Reuters examined registration data in six states that could see tight U.S. Senate races in November and which generally require voters to be members of a party to participate in nominating contests. While each state tracks voter registration differently, the review pointed to Republican gains in four of those states, and no substantial difference in two of them.

Nowhere is the Republican advance in voter registration more evident than in Pennsylvania, where so far this year Republicans have converted four Democrats for every Republican who has switched to the Democratic Party, according to data published by Pennsylvania's Department of State. That's on track to be the highest conversion rate in at least a decade and well above 2016, when Republicans took the White House, House of Representatives and Senate.

Yes, but PA is the worst of the thefts in 2020, the PA Supreme Court was an ACTIVE participant in the theft, and will make sure that NOTHING changes for 2022 or 2024...
And none of the Democrats on the court come up for vote for retention until 2025, when three of them do.
1 will be forced to retire in December of this year.
I believe the retirement will be filled by the governor, who is a lame duck Democrat.
But it is possible the court could change hands from 5-2 Democrat to 5-2 GOP by end of 2025 if retired justice is replaced by a GOP justice.
However the earliest the VOTERS get a chance to say anything is 2025, and on rare exception, voters vote to retain. If GOP is serious about cleaning up PA, they will make those retentions votes a MAJOR factor that year.. but I won’t hold my breath.
They don’t mention the vast number of republicans in Pennsylvania (like me) who switched to Independent.
When I saw how the GOP folded like a cheap suit and allowed the election coup, I knew they were part of the problem.
This November is going to be the last chance for the people to take control of their country without armed revolution.

So the Democrats are finding one person in four who will switch from R to D? How much are they paying because I would have to see it to believe it.
2020 showed how very targetted election fraud works. You DO NOT need to rig an entire system. Let 98% of the state vote however it wants. The Red areas of the state will be very strict with their local voting. No one will feel anything is wrong, and will thus be confused by accusations of fraud.
You only need to flip the switch on a few vote-counting centers in downtown Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, with questionable mail in votes, harvested votes from so-called homeless or black housing projects - no one dares oppose that.
Sadly the so-called Independents tend to fall for the lies of democRATs like Pelosi’s (wanting to be Schumer’s) butt-boy, the alleged conservative veteran Connor Lamb.
If the Repuke-agains can’t win decisively in this political environment then they cease to exist as a viable opposition party.
Dems just look to dominion when the chips are down.
You forgot about Jan 6th, surely bringing that up over & over will surely lead to Democrat victory!!

ANYONE found to be involved in election fraud or the scam investigations used to cover it up should be prosecuted, convicted, horsewhipped within an inch of their life, dipped in alcohol and then set on fire.

maybe operation chaos. or former chaos coming hme. I voted against hillary 3 times. had to come back at some time. hope it is the latter. If it’s the former we might be stuck with a bad candidate for gov and senate. Altho the list of governors are all pretty good. except Corman. Head Dave white on radio today. Sounds great. pipe fitter. wants to make piplines along the turn pikes to transport the marcellus gas.
