BORODIANKA razed: Ukraine's Zelenskiy says situation 'm ore dreadful' than Bucha

Ukrainian President Zelenskiy said the situation in Borodianka was "significantly more dreadful" than nearby Bucha, where Russian forces' killing of civilians has been broadly condemned.

In Borodianka, 60 km (37 miles) northwest of Kyiv, families looking for relatives watched diggers search through rubble of an apartment. The building was charred the middle section razed to the ground leaving a gaping hole.

"My mother, my brother, brother’s wife, his mother and father-in-law, are still there, as well as other people who were in the basement," said resident Vadym Zagrebelnyi.

"But there were other people on the upper floors with children. I know for sure that they didn’t come out. I know they were there at that time."

Zelenskiy said in a video the devastation in Borodianka was worse than Bucha, where more than 300 people were killed by Russian forces, about 50 of them executed. "It's significantly more dreadful. Even more victims from Russian occupiers," Zelenskiy said.

Ukraine's prosecutor general, Iryna Venediktova said in the Kyiv region, Borodianka, Bucha and other towns and villages such as Irpin, the authorities had found "650 dead bodies, of these 40 dead bodies were only kids".

Russia has denied targeting civilians saying images of bodies in Bucha were staged.

Few buildings remain standing in Borodianka, the ones that do have burn marks running up their walls. Among the rubble, a blue plastic child's shoe could be seen.

"When you see that pattern developing then it becomes clearer and clearer and clearer that what we're talking about is war crimes and also crimes against humanity," said Wayne Jordash, a lawyer with the Global Rights Compliance law firm and foundation.

"I would say in Bucha they may even go further, it's unclear at the moment, but there are indications there of genocide. That's what I would say."

The problem being, many have trouble believing anything governments or controlled media say about anything nowadays, with their evident habit of lying about a wide range of issues either out of deceit or delusion. But each case needs to be assessed on its own merits. Truth may be more complex than either side of a debate would allow, and of course sitting here thousands of miles away, we have no way of knowing what to believe.

But it remains the fact that our governments have pretty much exhausted whatever capital they had in the realm of credible commentary, and they are no more trustworthy than Putin who has always been known to place a convenient spin on events and ignore criticism.

I wish it were possible for some credible investigators to probe these matters, just as we wish they would do with other issues where we are constantly told half truths or lies. Perhaps one day the full truth will come out.

They keep trying. The false flags are becoming numerous. If one don't work, there's plenty more where that came from. Hearts and minds are being coerced even on FreeRepublic.com, where people should know better.

Like Rome, our country’s thirst for new territory to conquer has bankrupted our morals and emptied our coffers.

Ukraine being another prime example.

Thank God Biden hasn’t been allowed to put any boots on the ground there. It’s a fricking quagmire. Stay out of other peoples wars.

People walk by an apartment building destroyed by Russian forces in Borodyanka, Ukraine, April 5, 2022. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accused Russian troops of gruesome atrocities in Ukraine and told the U.N. Security Council on Tuesday that those responsible should immediately be brought up on war crimes charges in front of a tribunal like the one set up at Nuremberg after World War II.

A monument to Taras Shevchenko, a Ukrainian poet and a national symbol, showing damage from bullets, stands against the background of an apartment house ruined in the Russian shelling in the central square in Borodyanka, Ukraine, April 6, 2022. An aerial view shows a residential building destroyed by shelling, as Russia's invasion of Ukraine continues, in the settlement of Borodyanka in the Kyiv region, Ukraine, March 3, 2022.

Fortunately, the vast majority of human beings on Earth are not deranged nutbags such as yourself and the other Putinists on the forum.

What is the mechanism of destruction given that the Russian forces in town were light infantry?
The Ukrainian use of MRLS and heavy artillery to repel them is well documented at the same time.
Are we supposed to believe that the 9 story building was destroyed by 30 mm cannon or what?

“Death, destruction, terror and trauma following Russian invasion of Ukraine.”

The Tsarnov brothers are/were Chechin “immigrants”. (Five family members living off US welfare). They’re responsible for the Boston Marathon deaths, destruction, terror and trauma. (And the beheading of their Massachusetts-based drug partners).

Putin said he’d unleash Chechins with his army against Ukraine. (Not that Putin can brag about his vodka-infused military).

we are constantly told half truths or lies

Who wants to live in such a place? This is the best we can do? This is the height of civilization?

There is not one institution left that hasn't been infiltrated and hijacked by evil people, that doesn't lie, cheat, steal, and wish you were dead.

Well, you have a way out. You can depend on what the near-neighbors media is saying. Thats the Poles, Czechs, Slovaks, Baltics, etc. None of these people are in good odor with the globalists in general.

Defenitely the U.S state department with Ukrainian Nuland the main driver. I see she is now snuggling up to the Turkish Cypriots. Never mind that Turkey ostensibly did in 1974 what Russia has now done ie go in to protect ethinic kin.. The hypocrisy of these elites is so irksome

You don't have to be a Putinist to distrust had media and our government along with the stories that promote. They are confirmed liars, everyone of them.

The point is, that it makes it difficult to know anything without first hand, or trusted second-hand knowledge. If I tell you things about Afganistan, why would you believe me? You don't know me. I spent 4 years there, I can show you pictures. But how do you know any of it is true? You do not, you can not. Lying liars have ruined all credibility for everyone.
