A college student has ripped into CNN’s Brian Stelter for being “right up there” on delivering false narratives after members of the liberal media accused Fox News of being a “purveyor of disinformation”.
The CNN anchor was a guest at the University of Chicago’s panel discussion on ‘Disinformation and the Erosion of Democracy’ when a college student didn’t hold back arguing the network had made several mistakes including failing to report on the Hunter Biden laptop story.
“You’ve all spoken extensively about Fox News being a purveyor of disinformation but CNN is right up there with them,” college freshman Christopher Phillips said.
“With mainstream corporate journalists becoming a little more than apologists and cheerleaders for the regime, is it time to finally declare that the cannon of journalistic ethics is dead or no longer operative?
“All the mistakes of the mainstream media – CNN in particular – seem to magically all go in one direction. Are we expected to believe that this is all just some sort of random coincidence or is there something else behind it?”
Brian Stelter replied joking it was “time for lunch” before defending his network.
“I think my honest answer to you – and I will come over and we will talk in more detail after this – is that I think you’re describing a different channel than the one that I watch.”

BFD. Means nothing to these people.
Is he being doxed, investigated and threatened with expulsion? Wrongthink is not allowed.
"A college freshman calls out CNN's misleading coverage right to Brian Stelter's face."
‘Brian Stelter replied joking it was “time for lunch” before defending his network.’
Stelter’s mind went straight to food. Not surprising. Then, when confronted for reporting hoaxes, Stelter answered by repeating another hoax. Whew.
Discloser: My kid brother is a University of Chicago MBA. He earned his while Milton Friedman was still a legend there.
In all fairness, everyone knows that CNN is “America’s Fake News Headquarters”. All of their news readers are FOS.
Best part is that fat pudge Stetler claims “you’re watching a different channel than what i watch but its a popular right wing narrative.”
Meanwhile the kid brings up Nick Sandmann, who CNN settled with for massive amounts of money after defaming him.
I noticed Stelter actually didn’t deny a single specific accusation the young man made.
Really good catch. Sent it on to others, including a liberal recent college grad.
That should, have been a Wakeup call, for,CNN, but predictably it won’t be, as they will, blame the comments on “nasty extremists on the right”, and dismiss them outright most likely.
The third paragraph says Fox News is right up there with CNN. Why is everyone supporting this kid?
Stelter completely ignored the accusations other than to say, “Am not!”
If CNN didn’t have disinformation they would not have any information at all…
Merrick Garland is hot on the case.
Looks like a younger Jerry Nadler.
Christopher Phillips was great!
Notice how Brian seltzer did not answer directly or indirectly, any of his questions but merely change the subject on what the network had done that was good.
Also the reporter who is confronted with the fact that 16% were polled saying they would not have voted for Joe Biden have they been given all the information, said that the reason the information on Hunter was not released is that it had no bearing on who should be president. Complete be. S. The whole Biden family is corrupt and this will soon be a major issue.
I think the kid was trying to give some context to his point:
Kind of like saying "You say Fox News is putting out disinformation, but what about you, CNN--you're just as 'bad' as them, doing the same thing you're accusing others of."
I thought his question was well-articulated.
You could put a man in a woman's swim suit, his junk fully visible, and call himself a woman, and be allowed to compete against women, and liberals would support his cause.
I know, it's insane, but I bet it'll happen someday. They're that insane.
