Court Orders Soros-Funded Prosecutor in Greitens Case to Release Texts

The Missouri Supreme Court on Friday affirmed a lower court’s ruling that ordered St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner to turn over more than two years’ worth of communication records with billionaire Democrat megadonor George Soros.

John Solomon filed a public records request in 2019 seeking communications records between Gardner’s office and Soros, the Soros Fund Management, and Soros’ Open Society Foundation in connection with Gardner’s prosecution of former Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens (R).

The request sought “all calendar entries, phone messages, text messages, emails, encrypted app chats, letter correspondence[,] and long-distance toll records” Gardner made from January 6, 2017, through July 3, 2019.

Gardner failed to comply with Solomon’s initial request, which forced Solomon to take his fight through the judiciary. Solomon’s lawsuit alleged that Gardner’s refusal was a purposeful violation of the law and sought the release of the records, civil penalties, and attorneys’ fees, according to Just the News.

The state supreme court did not hear Gardner’s final appeal on Thursday and ordered Gardner on Friday to produce the requested records within 30 days.

Gardner launched a politically charged investigation into Greitens in 2018 after the former governor was accused of having an affair and blackmailing the woman with compromising photos while in office. Instead of having the St. Louis Police Department investigate these allegations, Gardner hired former FBI agent William Tisaby to conduct the investigation.

Last month, Tisaby pled guilty to evidence tampering and was sentenced to probation after facing six felony counts of perjury and one count of evidence tampering in connection with the Greitens investigation.

After the court’s order on Friday, Florida congressman Matt Gaetz said, “It really seems like a lot of evil, powerful forces are trying to keep Eric Greitens out of the Senate.”

Friday’s order comes just days before Gardner is scheduled to have a disciplinary hearing, after Missouri Chief Disciplinary Counsel Alan Pratzel accused her of professional misconduct and concealing evidence in her investigation into Greitens. Gardner could potentially lose her license to practice law in Missouri if the ethics violations charges are sustained at Monday’s hearing.

Isn’t Greitens the the case where McConnell and Rove are involved with?

I listened to Greiten's interview on Brietbart News Saturday this morning.

Everybody - the GOP establishment, the Left, and the media are out to get him. Because he stated early on that he will not vote for Mitch to be GOP leader.

Even Josh Hawley endorsed one of the other candidates against him.

Ordinary people who run for office are a huge threat.

If you smash a phone with a hammer, won’t the data be irretrievable? I expect something to “happen” to her phone.

“. Because he stated early on that he will not vote for Mitch to be GOP leader.”

Nonsense. Greitens cheated on his wife, imploded as governor, quit. We can do better. He might have also been screwed by the prosecutor, but he tainted is own legitimacy.

Greitens cheated on his wife

He did. He promptly owned it and he and his wife separated on amicably terms. until Rove and Soros exploited her to bring Greitens down.

imploded as governor, quit.

How so? He was a former Democrat who became a Republican and had a relatively successful term. He was a good Governor of MO.

We can do better. He might have also been screwed by the prosecutor, but he tainted is own legitimacy.

Of the GOP Senate MO candidates, Greitens is the only one who said he will not vote for Mitch as leader. Like it or not, Mitch is a crap-stain and needs to go. That's why they're trying to destroy him.

This is exactly the reaction that enabled a nobody community organizer with a paper-thin resume in Illinois to take down Jack Ryan for Senate in 2004. It's scared off and sabotaged dozens of candidates in the intervening years and just this year the same tactic lost Pennsylvania a great senate candidate in Sean Parnell and is setting up a socalist vs fake conservative celebrity race this fall. It's also going to be played against Herschel Walker in Georgia, probably elsewhere in as many places where it can show promise of sticking.

Most of what made Trump's candidacy historic was him absorbing every one of those smears and fighting through them. This is the way. Pick good candidates yes, but understand that anyone who has gotten somewhere in life has probably screwed up something along the way. They all have flaws and the left has shown it will happily vote for deeply flawed candidates no matter what they've done.

Sean Parnell is the kind we need in quantity. I hope he runs again.

There’s zero fear in that man,
spine of steel.

Miles of integrity.

They are involved with the current allegations by Greitens ex-wife that Greitens abused her and abused their sons. She went to D.C. and supposedly met with each of those maggots prior to the accusations becoming public. She has since made a public statement stating she was just wrapping up prior business that involved each of them.
