Pro-Russia protesters rallied in Germany on Sunday, the country's significant Russian-speaking population demanding an end to the discrimination it says it has suffered since war began in Ukraine.
Germany is home to 1.2 million people of Russian origin and 325,000 from Ukraine. Authorities fear the conflict could be imported into Germany and the protests used to promote Moscow's war narrative.
Police have recorded 383 anti-Russian offences and 181 anti-Ukrainian offences since the Kremlin's invasion started on February 24.
Around 800 people descended on financial hub Frankfurt Sunday, police said, amid a sea of Russian flags to protest "against hatred and harassment", an AFP journalist saw. There was a heavy police presence.

I’m not surprised that this is happening in Frankfurt am Main. Back during the Cold War it had many pro-communist/anti-American folks there. During my 2 tours with the 3d Armored Division, I recall hearing about numerous demonstrations. One I remember when when Armed Forces Radio and TV put in a huge satellite dish outside its building to get live broadcasts from the US to broadcast live on AFN TV. The pro-Communists demonstrations were out in force to “protest the Americans installing a death ray” in Frankfurt. This was also the time that the US was deploying the Pershing II and GLCMs.

Eronews reported that those waving Ukrainian flags began the ruckus by trying to take down peoples russian flags.... requiring police intervention...... But of course this always depends on which side reporters and networks are taking.....anywhere here or abroad.

They should check all pro-Russia protestors, those who are not citizens of Germany should be deported to their home countries.
Why?
Why single out ethnic Russians?
When Russia invades a country, Russians living abroad have a choice, live peacefully in the new country or move back to motherland.
They can join the protests against the aggression, but pro-aggressor protestors should be deported.
This should apply in case of other invasions, not just the current one in Ukraine.
