A convoy of Russian tanks has been picked off one by one in the Donbas in the latest blow to the Kremlin, footage appears to show.
The video allegedly shows an ambush from Ukraine's 54th Separate Mechanised Brigade targeting the invading tanks in Donetsk.
Russian forces are focusing their offensive in the eastern Ukrainian region after suffering heavy losses in major central cities, but they are still meeting fierce resistance.
The footage shows the tanks exploding into fireballs while they are stationed on a rural road.

Tanks are soo… last century. They are sitting ducks in modern warfare.
Any way you look at it Ivan has a BIG problem.
“Tanks are soo… last century. They are sitting ducks in modern warfare.”
The empirical evidence seems to agree with your statement.
a number of videos have been made using a video-game simulation. Check sources
If they take out the tanks, Russia will just resort to long range artillery and missiles which would cause even more devastating damage, so I don’t see this as much of a positive for Ukraine.
It was an interesting video, but its from two weeks ago. Lots has changed, Russians retreated from Kyiv.
There are no soldiers in the video, that’s weird.
Who knew the Ukrainians were such military badasses and Russia was completely incompetent?
Anyone actually believe this?
It seems that drones are the weapon of choice. You can kick back with a beer and conduct combat operations.
If you go on YouTube there are more but not that many. Some just have to be video games. With drone cameras there should be more evidence to share. So far that update here counts 450+ tanks taken out. If Russia has 12k of them it’s just a drop in the bucket.
I don’t know. Those tanks are not maneuvering. They are just sitting there, not moving at all. Unless Russian tankers are mindless idiots, or their ROE are suicidal, these tanks could very well have been abandoned armor when the attack was made. I would expect tanks under attack to start maneuvering, not just standing still waiting to get hit.
From all the scrambling in the Kremlin High Command I say the Russians DO
I would like to see some authenticated satellite footage of this. Too much of this has turned out o be video game footage or video constructions.
Terrible Russian losses, but the Kremlin cares even less about killed and maimed soldiers from Siberia than the denizens of the Georgetown district of DC care about killed and maimed soldiers from red states.
The UA Defense Ministry did post some dark humor photos of what they called the Russian "turret throw" competition.
I believe the DM when they write “allegedly shows.”
Where are the trustworthy war correspondents from WW II?
