More innocents will be killed by murderers who are not executed (in prison, or once released or if they escape) than will be killed by the state in erroneous executions.
This woman’s husband’s murderer is one such person. He deserves death, not release from jail where he can stalk and finally kill her.
I agree. Sooner or later, he will take her life. In spite of what the lawyers say during the trial very few inmates sentenced to life die in prison. They are released.
