Yep, I’m sure he would prefer to start his own and has all along, but you have to at least take a swing at the big dog. He’ll raise some havoc with their valuation in the meantime. He clearly is not interested in the slow process of gathering up shares that could take years which says he has a sense of urgency. Buy it outright or do Plan B which will be entirely on his timetable, with no obstacles in the way. Imagine the resistance he would have with 99% of Twit employees sabotaging his every move, knowing he can’t fire them all and keep the platform going. He’d be in as bad a situation to make radical change as Trump was.
