I have four sons and four daughters. Finding a good husband and wife now is going to be difficult. It makes me sad for them. No matter where we live, the broken families far outweigh anything else. The ones together.. a lot are so dysfunctional.
Tell them to avoid anyone into "social media". Facebook, Twitter, all that stuff is toxic for real relationships.
I have 3 young adult sons and one teen daughter. All three of my sons have steady girlfriend, and one is marrying this year—perhaps there is hope. . .
I am going to tell you, no recipe works.
One of my children married into a pre eminent and stable Christian family with 8 children, Six years later when the last one left home the parents had an acrimonious divorce. The kids are lined up on either the mother’s side or the father’s side.
Another big deal solidly married Christian family had the father come out as a woman. The kids blame both parents for some reason and the mother is now as estranged as dad.
I could go on for hours.
Homeschoolers, not homeschoolers, very conservative or not, all the families have fallen. It has been sadly amazing.
‘I have four sons and four daughters.’
wow, my compliments...I myself am awkward around children, and believe I would have made an aloof and unresponsive father, as was mine...but sometimes I do wonder...
