The Keystone pipeline was built while Obama was president and put into operation back in 2016. What is being talked about is the Keystone XL.

Can someone explain to me how importing more oil increases our energy independence? What would seem prudent to do would be to bring back into operation the hundreds of oil rigs that were shut down in TX, ND, and PA back in 2020 at the beginning of the so-called pandemic.

The United States has vast oil reserves and we must fight proposals like building the the Keystone XL which would actually increase our energy dependence on foreign countries.
