Zelensky, Liz Cheney among recipients of JFK Profile in Courage Award (Oh good Lord!)
theweek.com ^ | 4/21/22 | BRIGID KENNEDY

The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation will, for the first time ever, honor a total of 5 individuals with the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award this year, including Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, The Washington Post reports.

Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson (D), Arizona House Speaker Russell "Rusty" Bowers (R), and Wandrea "Shaye" Moss, who works for the Fulton Country election department in Georgia, will also receive the award.

"These honorees have placed their careers and lives on the line to protect democratic principles and free and fair elections," the foundation said in its announcement, per the Post. "They embody what President Kennedy admired most in others — political courage."

The group applauded Zelensky's "principled leadership," which has "strengthened the resolve of Ukrainians and people around the globe to protect and defend the fragile human right of self-determination." Ukraine is currently fending off an unprompted invasion at the hands of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The foundation also praised Cheney, vocal critic of former President Donald Trump and member of the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, for refusing "to take the politically expedient course that most of her party embraced."

This is a definite slap in the face to the Soros and western intelligence installed corrupt dictator. But he has socked away billions in foreign aid and will no doubt get over it when he skips town to live in one of his luxury estates.

The award is worth as much as Dorkbama the Muslim eunuch quota baby’s Nobel Peace Prize.

No “democratic principle” of “free and fair elections” was ever traced back to any of the named people.

This was sheer egregious misuse of foundation funds, trying to put a wax polish of some pretty loose fecal matter.

My notion - when the loose fecal matter dries down to a crust, play some “meadow Frisbee” with the individual pieces.

Rather ironic since JFK himself certainly wouldn’t be honoring these people if he was alive today. All these ‘awards’ they pump out have become a joke, including their Nobel Peace prizes.

This is fitting.

The book was ghostwritten by Ted Sorensen so it is as fake as a three dollar bill.

“The book was ghostwritten by Ted Sorensen so it is as fake as a three dollar bill.”

Whoever wrote it, it was actually a really good book.

Will Rogers once said that the Supreme Court follows the headlines. The same can be said about phony awards. For thinking people they are meaningless in any positive way.
