I agree with you that companies should state out of politics. Unfortunately major companies run head long into government and politicians. Then with major investment firms such as Vanguard and Blackrock being major owners of many major companies, then Company’s management needs to list to the awoke Investors. So now rich individuals are working with major investment firms to push agendas and not necessarily profits.
Take well on the way to being out a f fashion to be “woke”. When China crashes, and I believe it will, Blackrock will have a whole new attitude.
