Republican Rep. Liz Cheney is denying she leaked a tape of a conversation with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy in which he says he'll push former President Donald Trump to resign from office after the January 6 Capitol attack.
'The select committee has asked Kevin McCarthy to speak with us about these events but he has so far declined. Representative Cheney did not record or leak the tape and does not know how the reporters got it,' Cheney's spokesperson said, according to CNN.
After denying he made such comments, audio of a conversation between Cheney, then the No. 3 House Republican, and McCarthy was posted Thursday night by The New York Times and aired on Rachel Maddow's MSNBC show.

The thing is, it’s absolutely believable that a self-serving puke like cheney would stab even a fellow RINO in the back to further her jihad against Orange Man Bad.

This is so true. The GOP no longer exists as we knew it. A new party needs to be formed for the people. The Tea Party was a great option but it was shut down by the Uniparty.
So...
A) Cheney is lying and recorded and leaked the call
B) McCarthy is lying and he recorded and leaked the call.
C) They are both lying and conspired to record and leak the call.
D) Someone is wire tapping congressional phone lines and leaking recordings

Both their seats should be turned over to the democrats in November should they both be on the ballot. It will be gone for 2 years. We’ll win the house. Cantorize them both.
Well...she “personally” probably didn’t leak it - but we know that works in Washington, don’t we?
D - it’s a stone cold fact that Pelosi has been using the capital police and Intel agencies to spy on congress.

Doubt McCarthy would do this to himself - it obviously doesn’t benefit him.
Either way you can bet there is more to come of this. Designed to demoralize and depress turnout for the upcoming election.
It was a “leadership” conference call. There were a limited number of people and staffers on that call. It can’t be too hard to find the disgruntled staffer or member who recorded and leaked the audio.
Unless “leadership” doesn’t want to find the guilty party, because the guilty party was acting under instructions to leak the audio to the New York Slimes.
He is probably just one of the many Republicans in Congre$$ aka the Deep State that helped the Democrats cheat their way into the White House
