I think they want to avoid giving out any information on the officer, even their sex, because internet sleuths were able to identify the Capitol Police officer who shot Ashley Babbitt despite their best attempts to keep that a secret, and they are scared of accountability to the public they are supposed to serve.

That’s hilarious! “They” had an accidental discharge and is suspended. On the other hand, nothing happened to the son of a bitch who murdered Ashli Babbitt. Nice Union government we’ve got.

The Tucson police department had a bullet hole in their elevator for about 30 years or so. I finally heard the story from the nephew of the guy who shot the gun (Also an officer.) He was alone on his way up in the elevator to a meeting with all the top leaders and practicing his fast draw! The elevator opened to him facing the leaders holding his smoking gun. Whoops.

Who knows for sure, but it seems to me, if it was a white, heterosexual, God fearing man, it would have been plastered all over the place. Since it was not specified, I am automatically suspect.
