The biggest and most effective sanction the US could raise against the Russian Federation (and Iran, by the way), is to ramp up production of domestically produced petroleum and natural gas right here in the US, and flooding the world market with lower-priced petroleum products, making liquified natural gas available to all the nations now even partially dependent of Russian natural gas, and also relieving our own internal supply chain problems. The high price of Diesel fuel drives up the cost of every product delivered within the US and most capitalistic countries throughout the world.
