We are in this global lockup because of monopolies and lack of alternatives. It’s an ideal world invented by McKinsey loverlooking the needs to be “anti-fragile” in the words of Talib.

There’s more to it than that. The tariffs and quotas create American jobs and reduce dangerous dependency on foreign suppliers and in general make America more ‘whole’.
