One lie that hides an enormous conspiracy: Inside the trial that exposes Clinton’s plot to slander Trump

Special Counsel John Durham appears to have methodically built a case of historic consequence. It’s just not the case he has brought against bigshot Democratic Party lawyer Michael Sussmann.

Jury selection begins in Sussmann’s trial on Monday, in Washington, DC. It will be the first trial to arise out of the Russiagate probe, which began over three years ago. That’s when former Trump Attorney General Bill Barr assigned Durham, a longtime Justice Department prosecutor from Connecticut, to investigate how, in the middle of a heated presidential campaign and based upon scant evidence, the FBI came to suspect one of the candidates of being a clandestine agent of the Kremlin — to the point of opening counterintelligence and criminal investigations targeting Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign.

According to court filings in the Sussmann case, Durham has fingered the Hillary Clinton campaign as the culprit. The problem is that Durham has not charged that fraudulent scheme. Yet, he wants to offer evidence of the sweeping scheme in order to prove a comparatively minor and narrow offense — namely, that Sussmann lied to the FBI at a single meeting, on September 19, 2016.

Durham theorizes that the Clinton campaign concocted a political smear that Trump was a Putin puppet, then peddled the tale to a compliant media and to the FBI. This would enable Clinton to tout the “evidence” of corrupt Trump-Russia ties as so serious that the Feds were investigating.

Durham contends that the Clinton campaign left most of the scandal-mongering to its lawyers. Thus did Sussmann become central to the scheme, as did his law partner, Marc Elias. (Both attorneys have since left their white shoe international law firm, Perkins-Coie.) The deployment of lawyers in their schemes and scandals is a time-tested Clinton modus operandi, enabling them to claim attorney-client privilege to cover their...

Personally, I don’t expect much true Justice against deep state actors in this life. But this life is brief, and I expect real Justice in the next life, which is forever.

Durham can’t be this slow and this gentle without a motive that you just don’t see in Federal Prosecutors.

It’s the same single count charge that netted zero fine and zero jail time for Clinesmith.

Of course, his crazy theory that the peeps with all the money, surveillance, and spies were Bamboozled by a Lawyer from a Dem Law firm doesn’t make sense in DC.

I’m wondering, if Durham wins, what has been gained? Sussman goes to jail? I could care less. What about Clinton, the foundation, etc etc etc? If this is the only win, then we have won nothing.

The problem for Durham is that, because he hasn’t charged the big scheme, Judge Cooper is restricting what he can tell the jury about it. The CIA’s analysis is out of the case, as is proof that the data was grossly inaccurate — unless Sussmann makes the mistake of suggesting otherwise. The Clinton and Sullivan tweets are out — they happened weeks after Sussmann’s FBI meeting. And while Cooper has just compelled Fusion GPS to hand over some of its internal emails to prosecutors, the judge curiously ruled that Durham waited too long to seek them — they, too, are out of the case.

An Obama appointed judge is restricting much of the evidence that could nail Clinton. No suprise.

I have an idea!!!

Even though you have no idea what Durham has in mind, you should pretend you know everything and just throw up your arms and give up!!!

You may go now.

Turns out we can’t rely on a corrupt justice system to bring the corrupt to justice.

Go figure.

It’ll never happen. She’ll be in the ground before she ever sees a day in jail. Same for Bill.

McCarthy: “In essence, Sussmann traded on his credentials as a former national-security lawyer, just patriotically trying to protect America. Convinced of Sussmann’s good faith, the FBI opened an investigation of Trump’s supposed Alfa Bank pipeline to Putin.”

That is what Dunham is arguing, but the reality is that James Baker, McCabe, Comey, at al, all knew that Sussman was there on behalf of the Clinton Campaign/DNC. Sussman might have mouthed words otherwise as part of the script. Durham is bending over backwards to pretend the FBI/DoJ were duped.

That’s the price of having an investigation, since Dunham knows that if he implicates corrupt government Democrats, he’ll be shut down immediately. If he can get the conspiracy on the record, there is some hope for taking the next step. Go after Hillary or the government first, and the corrupt AG will pull the plug.

One element of proving the Sussman was lying is to show motive. Sussman’s obvious motive was furthering Hillary’s scheme to have the government investigate her opponent. Dunham will have a strong case that the judge has to allow evidence that shows Sussman’s motive. Dunham should present motive before the hard proof (billing records, etc.) so that the judge can’t disallow establishing motive as unnecessary.

The plan is to get the lawyer to flip, and or, to allow information from the law firm that advised or protected Hillary and Obama.

It’s a Trojan horse that opens the fortress. The filling from Fusion GPS, Hillary, and Perkins Coi have been about protecting attorney client privilege. That goes out the window if the lawyers were committing or assisting in crimes. They tried to nab Trump with Cohen’s fraud escapades, and the DOJ was allowed access to privileged information in the hope the could get Trump on something. There appears to have been no ‘there’ there, but I have a feeling that there is a lot of there there at Perkins Coi.

We won’t win anything, as you say. All well have is bragging rights that we were right all along. The left will still deny it.

Much more than an Obama appointed Judge

The Judge is the husband of a Dem Activist lawyer that represented Lisa Page in the Trump Coup. In other words, this case!

Strzok, Page - now into identifying Jan 6th Protesters.

Why Durham didn’t bring a motion to have him booted is another question.
