Harris to head delegation to UAE following the death of its president

Vice President Harris will lead a presidential delegation to the United Arab Emirates on Monday, following the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Friday, the White House announced.

Harris will travel to the UAE to “offer condolences on behalf of the Biden-Harris Administration and the American people on the passing of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan,” Harris’s press secretary Kirsten Allen said in a statement.

I’ve been to the UAE (Abu Dhabi) as an honored conference speaker (and therefore in a semi-offical capacity).

The people and leaders of the UAE are generally friendly to Americans (even for devout Christians, Jews, etc.} However, it’s easy for Americans to do or say something stupid there, if we’re not careful.

I fully expect Kamala to say something stupid, cackle, etc., and to embarrass us all!!!!

The wrong person, certainly, but she holds the right office for such things. Besides stepping in when the President dies, and the rare occasions when the Senate is tied, historically the VP’s main duty was to attend funerals.

Keep her “busy”. Allow her to get lots of attention as one of few women present. Keep her miles away from the Whitehouse. Cross your fingers that most “off” remarks won’t be picked up by the American press. That is the Game Plan for now.
