Russian commanders are slaughtering their own wounded soldiers instead of retrieving them from the battlefield for treatment, according to Putin's own troops.
A lieutenant-colonel was accused of personally shooting dead multiple troops as they lay injured.
The commander asked one soldier if he could walk, and when the man replied he could not, the officer killed him instantly.
The chilling account comes from young army intelligence troops captured by the Ukrainians.
They are shown speaking in a video clip made by Ukrainian journalist Volodymyr Zolkin who has chronicled Russian captives for Open Media Ukraine.
One soldier told how commanders had 'finished off their wounded'.
Asked by Zolkin what he meant, the captured Russian said: 'Just like that…a wounded soldier is lying on the ground, and a battalion's commander shoots him dead from a gun.'
He explained: 'It was a young man, he was wounded.

Russians bumping off their wounded? Their battlefield medical supplies situation must be awful, and was half plundered and sold off back in Mother Russia.
I think this is true is some isolated instances. BUT what I have been reading lots more about is Kiev holding thousands of Russian soldiers bodies on ice. Refrigerated trailers and the like. That Russia refuses to transport back home for burial. Rooskies just don’t want to be bothered.

It’s odd. These “conservatives” who won’t be happy until Putin reconstitutes the U.S.S.R.
Also remember Putin is out of ammo, fuel, food, and is retreating back across Ukrainian held territory back to Russia. Oh and he is reduced to piles and piles of cheap old decrepit artillery and artillery shells, which while maybe blowing up half of Ukraine are old and obsolute and just not of the quality that Raytheon will deliver to the Ukes if we just fork over another $100B and wait 4 years.
Pretty soon we will have him backed into a corner where his only option is humiliation or nuking us. Putin will pick humiliation. He always has. We’re betting your lives on it.

I think if I was a captive I’d say whatever I was told to say.
Exactly. Russia and putin can get bent. The world would be a better place if putin wasn’t in it.
But I don’t for one second believe that Ukraine or our politicians funneling (and laundering) billions of dollars is on the up and up.
Zelenski has been made out to be a hero, but I’m not so sure.
“Why?” you ask? Because our government and the media have set this narrative. Biden himself and his son have secrets and money in Ukraine.
Don’t tell me Ukraine or zelenski are the good guys. I won’t tell you putin or Russia are, either.
My heart does go out to the innocent civilians who are caught in this conflict.
According the Ukrainian state media which is the sole source of western media. That was a battlefield loss but it’s more like 50 armoured vehicles and they made it across the river anyway a few days later. The Ukrainians easily sustain 200-500 casualties and lose lots of armour and aircraft every single day. Javelins aren’t changing anything because they can’t get anywhere near tanks or artillery.
