I’m not interested in your simplistic reduction of a very complex history - which even historians are still tearing apart - to ‘a family dispute’.
It apparently has become a part of western culture to reward disastrous failure and declare it “patriotic”.
The British Royal Family had the means, the motive and the opportunity to prevent World War I if they had chosen to do so.
They did not make that choice.
That made them traitors to their country.
Once you “get” that then the song we are discussing starts to make sense.
