Assuming that we were,in fact,swinging from the trees 50 million years ago it's every bit as easy,IMO,to imagine God....or some amazingly powerful "force"...having orchestrated our decent from the trees,our ability to walk upright and our eventual ability to design and build a 747 as it is to believe it was all just one silly coincidence after another.

I,personally,don't have a huge problem with genuine agnostics...those who,after serious thought and reflection, are uncertain if God exists or not.It's the atheists I have a serious problem with...and the militant atheists that I have the biggest problem with.

Strangely enough, the scientific establishment is more tolerant of people who believe that extraterrestrial beings guided the course of evolution on this planet.

To me being an agnostic is the most rational and intellectually honest position to hold.

We don’t know the answers to these questions so saying “I don’t know” is the best we can do, while we continue searching for the answers.
