When I was in Montreal, it appeared to be the Lesbian Capitol of the World.
When I visited in 2015 Islamic garb was prominent at the amusement park in Montreal women with their children.
As for Jewish communities they do tend to congregate to be within walking distance of houses of worship.
It was that way in my town when I grew up.
The two synagogues either side of my small school district so 25 percent of the kids in my school were Jewish.
