Sarah Huckabee Sanders was declared the winner of the Republican primary contest for governor in Arkansas on Tuesday evening.
The Associated Press called the race with 33 percent of the vote counted as Huckabee Sanders led with 81.3 percent of the vote, while her challenger, Francis Doc Washburn, only had 18.7 percent.
Huckabee Sanders, the daughter of former Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-AR), is the former White House press secretary for President Donald Trump and earned his early endorsement in the race.

I still remember the story she told about her father winning when Clinton vacated the office and all he had was an empty office, because Clinton either sold off or gave away the office furniture.
While not necessarily not a good outcome,
I absolutely hate and would prohibit any political dynasties.

Democrats were actively raising money for her here.

I’m not in Arkansas, and don’t know as much as Arkansans do of their internal politics.
But I’ve always admired Sanders. She’s very ‘grounded’ and sensible, seems to stand for exactly what she believes, and maintains her equanimity and focus under pressure.
I think she would make a good governor, and I wish someone similar had a chance in my state.
Well I do live here and will not vote for her. She is more a RINO and not really a Conservative. There will be several races I will not vote in in November.

agree 100%. I know arkansas is hurting for talent but certainly can do better than the clintons and the huckabees. just as wyoming can do better than the cheney family.
