We learned a lot in this trial
When sussman went to the FBI, there was already an investigation ongoing about the matter … it was opened because a confindential source brought data to the FBI a couple of weeks earlier
We learned the source had to be Joffe, and since he was a CHS his name wasn’t mentioned
When sussmann went to baker it was the Joffe data .. and baker also used him as a CHS so his name was also hidden
So the FBI got two separate tips on the alpha bank matter to make it seem more legit
But in reality it was the SAME tip
Christopher R. Cooper is another Barack Obama stooge. You cannot expect anything better than this from him.
Sort of revealing when a lawyers admits in court that the TRUTH is prejudicial!
I think the bigger problem is that Sussman hasn't been charged with passing along false information, just making a false statement about why he approached the FBI. Not sure why Durham passed on that part of the meeting with the FBI. Maybe it can't be proven that Sussman was in on the fabrication of the information. Still, Sussman did know, which is why it makes it look so bad.
I think another thing we learned is that when the people running the entire justice system use government resources to create an investigation on an innocent US citizen, they have a great many tools they can use that aren't illegal. These people knew how to work the system against Trump, and there was only a few screw ups, the lie from Sussman being one of them.
My opinion is that Sussman told that lie in order for the FBI to have plausible deniability about why they were investigating the supposed Alfa Bank connection from the beginning. Baker knew it was a lie, Sussman of course knew it was a lie. They just said those things in order for it to look legit in the notes. They never thought Hillary would lose, and this would ever be investigated.
The fix is in. Nothing to see here. Move along.
This will be just another reason for this expected fix to be overturned but I don’t think Durham is worried about it. What he did get was perjury traps that Cooper could blockand Mooks admission that Hillary Clinton plotted the whole lie. That doesn’t go away even if Mook commits Arkancide.
The judge just gave the jury there out.

Our government is far too corrupt to be restored through civil means. We are down to the ammo box at this point.
I agree. He will walk, or get a slap on the wrist.
He won’t spend time in jail. He won’t be disbarred.
Discouraging. But now, expected.
This is the DC court system, where no Democrat is ever found guilty.
The lesson is:
If you lie to the FBI make sure you get a lawyer to do it for you.
And if the media backs up your lie..even if they know it’s a lie..then all the better..
