I doubt anyone is surprised. It is an Obama Judge whose wife represented Page. Durham should stop everything and appeal this but he won’t.
We learned a lot in this trial
When sussman went to the FBI, there was already an investigation ongoing about the matter … it was opened because a confindential source brought data to the FBI a couple of weeks earlier
We learned the source had to be Joffe, and since he was a CHS his name wasn’t mentioned
When sussmann went to baker it was the Joffe data .. and baker also used him as a CHS so his name was also hidden
So the FBI got two separate tips on the alpha bank matter to make it seem more legit
But in reality it was the SAME tip
