Steven Van Metre on Youtube said that the reason Biden wants to lower tariffs on China, is that they want American companies to stay in China.
If American companies leave, then the threat of Sanctions loses a lot of it’s impact.
They are trying to sell the lowering of Tariffs to the American public both as a cause of inflation and as a solution to inflation.
I think 10% for the big guy has a lot to do with it.
But even so, it’s a poor logic to weaken America and strengthen China so that America retains a little bit of influence.
Especially when China steals all the technology anyway.
